About the event

This information gives a clear indication of a child’s start-point. The tracking template enables teachers to ascertain the needs of all their students and what deliberate acts of teaching are required to develop the foundation skills needed. We also look at how to effectively track students learning progress.

A main focus for the workshop is to analyse the tracking information and plan for deliberate acts of teaching. We will look at each of the five elements Seeing, Speaking, Hearing, Moving and Print. Each element will be unpacked with a brief overview of what the element is and why it is important for development in your learners. For each of the skills (I can statements) we will play with a variety of strategies and activities that will support the development of this skill. This workshop is a real hands on and practical workshop.

This workshop is only open to those who have participated in our Ready 4 Learning in a Play-based Context or Barbara Brann Workshops or if you have purchased and understand the Ready 4 Learning Framework.
