"Ande provided the support and challenge I needed to grow as a new Principal. This year Ande has been working with our middle leadership. She has stretched the team through her unrelenting focus on improvement, but with this she is supportive and offers practical, immediate and achievable strategies for the leaders to try and implement."

Feedback from our workshops

"Terrific to have hands on activities, your foundation skills will help us identify learners “gaps” and guide us on next steps, Thanks Ande and Carolynne for a terrific day and thanks to Vince for the yummy lunch!"

RTLB - "We loved how interactive the workshop was and linking your activities to learning and how that helps children learn. Such a great framework to analyse the “whole child” and their strengths and needs."

"These were brilliant, everyday activities.  I’m working in a low decile school and most of our learners arrive into school low, it is so useful to get real information on where our children are and how we can support them with their learning, no matter where they come in developmentally."

"As a special needs school teacher I loved the framework, especially the focus on key competencies.  It would be such a useful tool for me in my classroom, this workshop was great value for money and I would recommend this to others."

Ande Ford has worked in our school in the areas of Assessment For Learning practice and Leadership. Ande's extensive experience as a Principal and as a learning facilitator means she has a deep understanding of what it means to guide a school through the change process and how to support school leaders in shifting teacher practice to improve student achievement.

Ande has a strong pedagagical knowledge and  is a skilled coach. This means that no matter what comes up in conversation in leadership growth sessions or staff meetings she can seize the teachable moment and coach staff to those "aha moments" that improve their practice and support the school to move forward with its strategic goals.

Ande shares research and models of teacher practice through readings and great video clips that mean staff know their learning is based on sound research and can discuss their practice in relation to this.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ande to any school who wants to grow from good to great.
